[ブリュッセル １日 ロイター] – 欧州連合（ＥＵ）加盟２７カ国は１日、イラン紛争を巡って「最大限の自制」と国際法の全面的な尊重を求めた。ＥＵのカラス外交安全保障上級代表（外相）が全加盟国を代表して声明を出した。
各国外相による緊急ビデオ会議を経て発表された声明は「イランによる同地域の複数の国々への攻撃および主権侵害は許されない。イランは無差別な軍事攻撃を控えるべき」と述べた。
また、「この紛争が中東、欧州、そしてそれ以外の地域を脅かし、経済分野も含めて予測不可能な結果を伴うようなエスカレーションにつながってはならない」と指摘。「ホルムズ海峡のような重要な海路の混乱は避けなければならない」と付け加えた。
