［ドバイ／ワシントン １日 ロイター］ – イランは米国との交渉に向けた最新の提案を仲介国パキスタンを通して送付した。国営イラン通信（ＩＲＮＡ）が１日、報じた。
ＩＲＮＡは提案の詳細には触れていないものの、戦闘終結に向けた協議の打開につながる可能性があるとの見方から、原油価格が下落した。
イランが新提案を送付したとの報道について、米ホワイトハウスのケリー報道官はロイターに対し「非公開の外交上のやり取りについて詳細は明らかにしない」とした上で、「トランプ大統領はイランは決して核兵器を保有してはならないという立場を明確にしている。米国の短期的、長期的な国家安全保障を確保するための交渉は継続されている」と語った。
