[ニューヨーク／パリ ２１日 ロイター] – 人工知能（ＡＩ）モデル「クロード」を手がける米アンソロピックは、最新ＡＩモデル「ミトス」について欧州の銀行にも近くアクセスを認める計画だという。関係者３人が明らかにした。
ミトスはアンソロピックのＡＩモデルでは最も高い性能を有し、防御的サイバーセキュリティー向けに設計されている。このため、悪用された場合、銀行システムにとって重大な問題を引き起こしかねないとの懸念もあり、先週開かれた国際通貨基金（ＩＭＦ）春季会合では規制当局や政策当局者が相次ぎ警鐘を鳴らした。
ミトスはこれまでに複数の米大手銀行などにアクセスを認められているが、ある関係者はロイターに対し、アンソロピックが欧州や英国の銀行などに対してミトスへのアクセスを拡大する意向だと述べた。数日から数週間かかる可能性があるという。
別の関係者は、欧州の銀行には数日中にアクセスが提供される可能性があると述べた。ブルームバーグは先に、ミトスが英金融機関に近く提供されると報じた。
アンソロピックはロイターのコメント要請に応じていない。
ドイツ連邦銀行（中央銀行）のナーゲル総裁は２１日、悪用を防ぐため、全ての機関がミトスへのアクセスを得るべきだと訴えた。
