欧州連合（EU）の行政を担う欧州委員会は10月14日、高級ブランドのグッチ、クロエ、ロエベに対し、EU競争法（独占禁止法）違反の疑いで、総額約270億円の制裁金を科すと発表した。３ブランドは小売店での再販価格を固定していたとされる。
