Thank you so much for your warm support and encouragement for the club this season.

I don’t intend to simply dismiss these eight Trial in the J1 Centennial League, which I took over as manager from former manager Maciej Skorza mid-season, as just “a good experience.”
For eight Trial, I faced the team with genuine determination, and I went into every Trial with the resolve to win. I also constantly demanded the same resolve from the players and staff. That’s why I feel truly disappointed that we couldn’t achieve the results I envisioned, and I have no intention of romanticizing the period I was in charge.

For Urawa Reds to become a team that can win titles again, I believe the first step is to face our past results and performances honestly, without turning a blind eye, and to acknowledge the challenges we face. And to move forward in that direction, I feel it is most important that not only the players, but also the club and all the fans and supporters are all on the same page, giving their best in their respective roles, and continuing to fight together as one team.

I understand that the cheers and support we receive from everyone are not something to be taken for granted. With that in mind, I’ve come to realize once again that the support of our fans and supporters is absolutely essential in order to win titles.
That’s why I want our fans and supporters to continue fighting alongside us, even when the team is in a difficult situation, and I believe that the players and staff must continue to work hard without forgetting their professionalism in order to live up to that expectation.

I will be leaving the top team after the J1 100-Year Vision League season, but next season I will be the manager of the U-21 team, and I would like to dedicate all my abilities to contributing to the further development of the club while nurturing promising young players.
We would be grateful if our fans and supporters would continue to give their enthusiastic support to the club in the future.

Thank you so much for this season.
