［ニューデリー ４日 ロイター］ – 米国の代表団が来週インドを訪問し、通商を巡る協議を行う見通しであることが４日、インド政府関係筋の話で分かった。
関係筋によると、米代表団はニューデリーを訪問。インドのモディ政権はトランプ米大統領がインドに課した関税の引き下げに期待している。
ロシアのプーチン大統領はこの日から２日間の日程でインドを国賓として訪問。プーチン氏には閣僚のほか、大規模なビジネス代表団も同行しており、ロシアは米国がウクライナ侵攻を巡り制裁措置を強化する中、インドと相互貿易の拡大や取引品目の多様化を目指している。
