On Monday, April 6, 2026, President KIM Dong-One of Korea University, an inter‑university partner institution, paid a courtesy visit to President KUMANOGOH Atsushi and Executive Vice President HAYASHI Mikako at the University of Osaka. From UOsaka, Vice Director ITOH Chihiro of Institute for International Initiatives, Director MA Ninshuu from East Asian Center for Academic Initiatives, and Professor Emeritus NAKAGAWA Atsushi and Professor KURISU Genji from the Institute for Protein Research attended the meeting. Following the introductions of both universities, the participants engaged in a lively discussion on joint research.
