[マドリード ３日 ロイター] – スペインは３日、米国による新たな関税導入への対策として、国内企業に１４１億ユーロ（１５６億６０００万ドル）相当の融資と直接支援を提供する計画を発表した。
トランプ米大統領が２日に発表した関税を受けて市場は動揺。過去数十年にわたり世界秩序を形成してきた貿易自由の時代が終焉し、世界の指導者らから非難が噴出している。
欧州連合（ＥＵ）に課された２０％関税の対象国となったスペインは世界最大のオリーブオイル輸出国。また、米国に自動車部品、鉄鋼、化学薬品を多く輸出している。
サンチェス首相は、トランプ氏の行動を「愚か」で「１９世紀の保護主義への回帰」と非難。「友好国と敵国、イデオロギーや貿易収支に基づく区別もなく、全ての人と物に敵対する措置だ」と述べた。
また、欧州は他で新たな貿易相手国を見つける必要があると強調した。
同氏は来月、ベトナムと中国を訪問し、より緊密な経済関係の構築を模索する予定だ。
