［ブラジリア ２５日 ロイター］ – ブラジル最高裁は２５日、クーデター計画などの罪で禁錮２７年３月の判決を受けたボルソナロ前大統領に対し、刑の執行開始を命じた。
最高裁はこの日、同氏を巡る裁判を正式に終了。同日夜に判事４人が承認すれば、判決が確定する。最高裁は今月、ボルソナロ氏側による異議申し立てを退けていた。
最高裁のモラエス判事はボルソナロ氏に対し、ブラジリアの連邦警察の施設で刑期を開始するよう命じた。
ボルソナロ氏は２０２２年大統領選で現大統領のルラ氏に敗北。その後、クーデターを企てた罪で起訴された。８月から自宅軟禁に置かれていたが、足首に装着した監視装置を開けようとしたため、逃亡の恐れがあるとして警察が２２日に拘束していた。
