Urus Performante (2023)
The latest vehicle to join the Italian State Police’s fleet is the Urus Performante, delivered in Rome’s Piazza del Viminale in December last year, in the presence of Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, Minister of the Interior Matteo Piantedosi, and Chief of Police Vittorio Pisani, who received the keys directly from Chairman and CEO Stephan Winkelmann. The vehicle is equipped with a twin-turbocharged V8 engine producing a maximum output of 666 CV and 850 Nm of torque between 2,300 and 4,500 rpm, enabling acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.3 seconds and a top speed of 306 km/h. This model was customised in Sant’Agata Bolognese with a livery designed by Lamborghini’s Centro Stile, combining the classic “Polizia di Stato Blue” with white and tricolour stripes along the sills and beltline.
The Urus has been fitted with essential public safety equipment, including a secure weapon drawer, a collapsible message panel, a compartment in the boot for tools, and a defibrillator. As with all delivered vehicles, it features a refrigerated compartment for organ transport, with a display and data logger for constant temperature monitoring.
Automobili Lamborghini is honoured to continue this historic partnership, which highlights innovation and social commitment through vehicles that not only achieve exceptional performance but also support the Italian State Police in their most critical missions.
