[ワシントン １７日 ロイター] – トランプ米大統領は、ロシアのプーチン大統領と１８日にウクライナ戦争の終結に向けた協議を行う意向を明らかにした。
フロリダ州からワシントンに向かう大統領専用機上で記者団に「プーチン大統領と１８日に協議する。週末に多くの取り組みが行われた」と述べた。
「戦争を終わらせることができるかどうかを見たい。できるかもしれないし、できないかもしれないが、可能性は非常に高いと思う」と語った。

停戦交渉でどのような譲歩が検討されているかとの質問に対し、トランプ氏は「土地について話し合う。発電所についても協議する」と答えた。
米国はウクライナおよびロシアと協議を重ねてきたとし、「特定の資産の分割についてはすでに話し合っている」と述べた。
ロシア大統領ペスコフ報道官は、１８日の電話会談について確認したが、土地や発電所に関するトランプ大統領の発言についてはコメントを控えた。
