［ワシントン　１３日　ロイター］ – 米上院は１３日、ロバート・ケネディ・ジュニア氏の厚生長官への指名を最終承認した。ケネディ氏はワクチン懐疑派として知られており、医療界から厳しい反対の声が上がっていたほか、過去の「反ワクチン」発言などを巡り、指名承認公聴会では民主党議員らから厳しく追及された。

投票結果は賛成５２票、反対４８票。ミッチ・マコネル議員が唯一、共和党議員として反対票を投じた。
