I am asking myself this question as I prepare to leave Chile — my second home for the past eight months — and fly to New York for work. As my Chilean mother Carmen says, “It’s a dream of others.” I feel excited to begin a new adventure, yet mostly I feel stressed and nostalgic about leaving Chile.
