株式会社タカラトミー（以下、タカラトミー）は「トミカ」55周年を記念し、2025年6月28日から9月14日までの約3カ月間にわたり、トミカの世界を体感できるイベント「トミカ博2025 in TAIWAN」を台湾・台北市にて開催。また5年ぶりとなる海外での開催を祝し、現地お馴染みの「台湾タクシー」を製品化、会場記念品のオリジナルトミカとして販売を行う。

5年ぶりに台湾で開催される「トミカの祭典」「トミカ博」は全国のファンが「トミカに出会える場所」として毎年日本全国の主要都市（7～9ヶ所）で開催。
会場はジオラマや歴代トミカを見て楽しむことができる「展示ゾーン」、様々なアトラクションを楽しめて、トミカの景品がもらえる「アトラクションゾーン」、発売中の各種製品やイベント記念商品が購入できる「トミカマーケット」などのコーナーで構成。毎回テーマの違う迫力ある展示やアトラクションの実施、イベント商品の販売など、「トミカ」の世界を体験できる、子どもから大人まで楽しめるイベントとなっている。
2000年の開始以降四半世紀に渡って国内での運営に終始してきた「トミカ博」だが、トミカ誕生50周年の節目の年となる2020年に初の海外展開となる「トミカ博 in TAIWAN」を開催。2020年12月22日から2021年3月21日までの約3カ月の期間に約12万人の来場者を記録し、盛況の内に幕を閉じた。
その熱気に応える形で「トミカ」55周年の節目となる2025年、通算2回目となる海外開催の地として再び、台北が選定されることとなった。

今回の2回目の開催に際しては、会場をTaipei Huashan1914Creative Park（華山1914文化創意産業園区）に変更。会場内にはトミカ誕生時の初代から最新モデルまで歴史を知る展示ゾーン、フォトスポット、ショッピングゾーンなど数々のコーナーを設置してイベントを盛り上げる。
自身がデザインしたトミカが仮想空間でレースを繰り広げる「トミカ デザインレーシングNEO」（左）と、オリジナルのカスタマイズを行ったトミカを製作してもらえる「トミカ組み立て工場」（右）の様子。いずれも「トミカ博」定番の人気アトラクションだ。

そうした中でも、アトラクションは複数のプログラムが用意されている。トミカワールドをモデルにした仮想空間内のオリジナルコースで、「自身がデザインしたトミカ」を走行させられる「トミカ デザインレーシングNEO」、用意されたパーツの中から好きなカラーのボディやシートなどを選択し、お気に入りのトミカを完成させることができる「トミカ組み立て工場」など、体験メニューがラインナップされている。
「トミカ博2025 in TAIWAN」開催を記念して販売される会場記念品の「台湾タクシー（特注-台灣計程車55688）」。黄色いボディが特徴で、現地では「小黄（シャオフアン）」の愛称で親しまれているという。

また、会場記念品として「小黄（シャオフアン）」の愛称で親しまれている、「台湾タクシー」のオリジナルトミカが販売されている。販売は会場内で行われており、価格は250ニュー台湾ドル（以下、NTD）。
