[ワシントン ４日 ロイター] – トランプ米大統領は４日、国家安全保障上の懸念を理由にイラン、アフガニスタン、リビアなど１２カ国からの入国を禁止する布告に署名した。
対象国はほかに、ミャンマー、チャド、コンゴ、赤道ギニア、エリトリア、ハイチ、ソマリア、スーダン、イエメンが含まれる。
当局者によると、ブルンジ、キューバ、ラオス、シエラレオネ、トーゴ、トルクメニスタン、ベネズエラからの渡航も一部制限する。
ホワイトハウスのジャクソン報道官は「トランプ大統領は、われわれの国に来て危害を加えようとする危険な外国人から米国人を守るという約束を果たしている」とＸに投稿した。
ホワイトハウスは声明で、全面的な入国禁止措置が取られた国は「適正検査と審査に不備があり、米国に非常に高いリスクをもたらすと判断された」と説明した。
トランプ氏は１期目にもイスラム教徒が多い７カ国からの入国を禁止し、連邦最高裁は２０１８年にこの措置を支持する判断を下した。
