KOUGEI EXPO is Coming to Kanagawa
for the First Time!
Aiming to foster appreciation and spread awareness of traditional crafts, the KOUGEI EXPO
has been held every November in a different prefecture in Japan since 1984. This year, the KOUGEI EXPO takes place for the first time in Kanagawa at PACIFICO Yokohama from Saturday, November 7th to Monday, November 9th. At the event, traditional craftsmen demonstrate how to create works of “Kamakura-bori,” “Hakone Yosegi-zaiku” and “Odawara Shikki (lacquerware)” originated in Kanagawa Prefecture. In addition to exhibiting and selling those local craft products, the event features workshops, a collaborative program with “Touken Ranbu online (a popular on-line game)” and a program in partnership with the upcoming GREEN×EXPO 2027. KOUGEI EXPOが神奈川県で初めて開催されます
「伝統的工芸品月間国民会議全国大会（KOUGEI EXPO）」は、伝統的工芸品に対する理解と普及を目指し、1984年から、毎年11月に開催地をかえて全国各地で開催されています。今年はそのKOUGEI EXPOが11月7日（土）から9日（月）の３日間、パシフィコ横浜を会場に神奈川県で初めて開催されます。神奈川県の伝統的工芸品「鎌倉彫」「箱根寄木細工」「小田原漆器」の職人による制作実演や販売、工芸品のワークショップに加えて、人気オンラインゲーム「刀剣乱舞ONLINE」とのコラボ企画やGREEN×EXPO 2027と連携した企画なども用意しています。是非、ご家族やお友達とKOUGEI EXPO in KANAGAWAに行ってみませんか。入場は無料です。詳しくは以下のHPをご覧ください。
