[ニューデリー ２日 ロイター] – インドのラブ・アガルワル外国貿易総局長は２日、中東の紛争で供給が制約を受けている必需品の国内供給を確保するため、必要に応じて輸入関税の引き下げや輸出規制を実施する方針を明らかにした。
アガルワル氏は、政府が重要原材料など必需品に対する輸入関税の引き下げを検討していると述べた。
具体的な対象品目については明言を避けたが、国内での十分な供給を確保するために輸出を規制する可能性があると言及。当局が重要な品目のウォッチリストを作成し、必要な措置を適時に講じられるよう監視を強めるとしている。
また、アガルワル氏は、歳入局と連携し、反ダンピング関税などの貿易保護措置の見直しも進めていると語った。
インド政府はインフレ抑制と消費者保護のため、すでにガソリンと軽油の物品税を引き下げている。
