[ドバイ／ドーハ １９日 ロイター] – カタールの国営石油大手カタール・エナジーの最高経営責任者（ＣＥＯ）を務めるカアビ・エネルギー担当国務相は１９日、イランの攻撃で液化天然ガス（ＬＮＧ）輸出能力の１７％が停止したと明らかにした。年間売上高が約２００億ドル下押しされるほか、欧州やアジアへの供給が脅かされるとした。
同氏はロイターのインタビューで、１４基あるＬＮＧプラントのうち２基と、２カ所の「ガス・ツー・リキッド」（ＧＴＬ）施設が損傷したとし、修復作業により年間１２８０万トンのＬＮＧ生産が３─５年間停止することになると説明。
イタリア、ベルギー、韓国、中国向けのＬＮＧ供給に関する長期契約について「フォースマジュール（不可抗力）」を最大５年間宣言せざるを得ないと述べた。
その上で「生産再開には、まず敵対行為が収束する必要がある」と強調。「イスラエルであれ、米国であれ、他の国であれ、石油・ガス施設には手を出すべきではない」と訴えた。
