[ニューデリー ２３日 ロイター] – インドと欧州連合（ＥＵ）は２７日に自由貿易協定を巡る交渉の妥結を発表する見込みだ。複数の関係筋が明らかにした。欧州の自動車やワインに対する関税引き下げと、インドの電子機器・繊維製品・宝飾品の市場拡大に道を開くという。

交渉は９年間の中断を経て２０２２年に再開され、貿易摩擦が強まる中、昨年から活発化していた。
インド・ＥＵ間の貿易総額は２４／２５年度（２５年３月末まで）で総額１３６５億ドルに達しており、ＥＵはインドにとって最大の貿易パートナーの一つ。
