[モスクワ ２１日 ロイター] – ロシアのプーチン大統領は２１日、デンマーク自治領グリーンランド
の所有権はロシアの関心事ではなく、米国とデンマークは両国の間で問題を解決すべきだと述べた。
プーチン氏が公の場でこの問題を取り上げたのは初めて。トランプ米大統領がグリーンランド領有を目指していることに反対しない姿勢を示した形だ。
ロシアの安全保障会議で「グリーンランドで何が起ころうともわれわれには何の関心もない」と発言。「デンマークは常にグリーンランドを植民地として扱ってきた」とも批判した。
また、ロシアが１８６７年にアラスカを７２０万ドルで米国に売却したことに言及。この価格を使ってインフレで調整し、グリーンランドの大きさと金価格の変動を考慮すると、デンマークからグリーンランドを購入するには約１０億ドルかかると述べた上で、米国にとって支払い可能だとの考えを示した。
