[ニューデリー ４日 ロイター] – ロシア大手銀行のガスプロムバンク(GZPRI.MM), opens new tabとアルファバンクが、インドでの営業許可をインド準備銀行（中央銀行）に申請した。関係者４人が明らかにした。インドはロシア産石油の最大の海上輸送先で、ロシアはインドとの取引拡大を目指している。

一方、トランプ米大統領はロシアとの関係を保持するインドに対して圧力を強めている。

関係者１人によれば、ロシア政府高官と両行の代表者が、インド財務省高官と３日、この件に関する会合を開いた。

アルファバンクはムンバイ、ガスプロムバンクはニューデリーでの業務開始を目指している。

ロシア中銀は３日、「ロシアの金融セクターの利益発展のため」、ムンバイに事務所を開設したと表明した。インドではロシア貯蓄銀行(SBER.MM), opens new tabやＶＴＢ銀行(VTBR.MM), opens new tabが既に営業している。
