[香港 ８日 ロイター] – 中国の新興ロボット企業、宇樹科技（ユニツリー・ロボティクス）は新規株式公開（ＩＰＯ）で、時価総額を最大５００億元（７０億ドル）とすることを目指している。関係筋が明らかにした。
宇樹科技は先週、ＩＰＯの準備を積極的に進めており、第４・四半期に上場申請書類を提出する予定だと発表したが、上場時期などの詳細は明らかにしていない。
計画通りに進めば、宇樹科技のＩＰＯは、近年の中国における国内テクノロジー企業の新規上場としては最大級の案件となる見通しだ。
関係筋によると、同社は上海証券取引所の新興ハイテク企業向け市場「科創板」への上場を計画している。
調達額の目標は不明だが、時価総額が約５００億元の企業は通常、中国でのＩＰＯで株式の１０％以上を発行する必要がある。
関係筋によると、直近の資金調達ラウンドでの同社の評額は１２０億元だった。５００億元に達すれば大幅な増加となる。同社は既に黒字化しているという。
宇樹科技は２０１６年に設立。歩行や坂道の昇降、荷物運搬が可能なロボットの動画を昨年公開し、世界的な注目を集めた。
創業者の王興興氏は資金調達後、同社の年間売上高が既に１０億元を超えたと述べた。
